Your Knights raced well on their home turf, at the 2025 Central Catholic Invitational. Our harriers competed with 20 schools from across the region, on a hot afternoon. Continued hard work and perseverance continues to pay off, as the Knights demonstrated continuing great performances. Last weekend, Pat Seeley had a big breakthrough, going sub 11 min at Rensselaer. He capitalized on his experience to date and his home turf advantage, finishing an awesome 4th in a race field of 316. Edged out of 3rd place by one second, he posted a 10:57 performance. Andrew Thiel turned in a great performance, the second Knight across the line in 12:07. Big day for Zach Kerr, Andrew Miller, and Micah Worster. They were the 3 - 5th Knights across the line, all setting new PRs, on their home turf no less, of 12:40, 12:53, and 13:35 respectively. The Knights collective efforts earned them a 6th place team score of 19 teams: 218 (4, 34, 46, 58, 76). Excellent running at home Knights! In the girls race, Maria Penn led the Knights with a strong 14:10 performance. Veteran Julia Duso tackled our course nicely, with a 15:38 finish. Likewise, a big day for Naomi Vogel and Gianna Starr. Our 3rd and 4th Knights turned in excellent performances, earning new PRs of 17:09 and 17:24 respectively. Nicely done! Mark Elsner, big thanks for capturing our harriers in action and posting the photo gallery. Way awesome! This team's drive and determination continues to be unwavering. We're excited to see what they do next, as we move into the back half of our season. Next, the Knights are headed to the Greater Lafayette Jr HS City/County XC meet.
