Lafayette Central Catholic (10-3, 6-2) defeated Rensselaer (6-8, 1-5) Tuesday night 11-1 in six innings. Vince Telenko (3-0) scattered three hits over six innings of work to pick up the win. Alex Schummer's bases clearing double was the big blow in the second inning. Schummer and Lucas Gerkey each finished with a pair of hits and scored two times. Mikey Stapleton had three hits and drove in a pair of runs. Kolton Minnich was also 2-2 for the Knights.
