The Lady Knights opened the season at home on Tuesday evening hosting the Benton Central Bison. The Knights carried a lead into the top of the 7th behind a strong pitching performance from sophomore Kendyl McCammon, but were not able to overcome the hot bats of the Bison in the 7th inning. The Knights ultimately fell13-7 in the opener. Ellie Walter led the way for the Knights at the plate going 3-4 with 3 RBI. The Knights are back in action on Thursday as they travel to Fountain Central.
